Kirsten L'Esperance of Finlandia and of Haley Jacquez of Mount Mary have been named the American Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Soccer Players of the Week.
L'Esperance, a junior midfielder from Brighton, MI, had another solid week for the Lions. She tied the school record with four goals and added an assist for nine points in a 13-0 win over Eureka Thursday. The Lions set a school record for goals, tied the record for points (36) and are 2-0 for just the third time in school history.
Jacquez, a junior goalkeeper from Oakland, CA (Freedom HS), made 27 saves against Lakeland in her first collegiate soccer game.
