Carlee Conrad and Owen Bradford of Valley Forge have been named the American Collegiate Athletic Association Basketball Players of the Week.
Conrad, a senior guard from Pine Grove, PA (Pine Grove Area HS), averaged 26.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 3.0 assists per game as the Patriots downed Penn State York before falling to Notre Dame (MD). She hit 17-of-25 field goals (48.6%), including 5-of-11 from behind the three-point arc.
Bradford, a first-year player from Lansdale, PA (Faith Christian Academy), hit 62.5% from field goal range (15-24), 9-of-9 from the free throw line and averaged 9.0 rebounds per game as the Patriots defeated Bryant & Stratton and Medgar Evers. He finished the week with a 21.0 points per game average. The Patriots are ranked fourth in NCAA DIII play in points per game with a 105.8 ppg average.
