Erica Williams of Mount Mary and Aaron Hill of Valley Forge have been named the American Collegiate Athletic Association Basketball Players of the Week.
Williams, a junior forward from Bloomington, IL (Bloomington HS), averaged 14.0 points and 13.5 rebounds in the first two games of the season. She hit 43.8% from the field (7-16) and added three assists per game.
Hill, a sophomore guard from Fredricksburg, VA (Fredricksburg Christian HS), accumulated a career-high 36 points in the season opener against Goucher, going 12-24 (50.0%) from the fg, and 9-16 (56.3%) from behind the arc. He was also 3-3 at the line and collected two blocks and three steals in his 33 minutes of play.
