Swish! Williams and Lewis Players of the Week

Erica Williams of Mount Mary and Tahaij Lewis of Alfred State have been named the American Collegiate Athletic Association Basketball Players of the Week.

Williams, a sophomore forward from Bloomington, IL (Bloomington HS), posted a pair of double-doubles with 19 points and 14 rebounds against North Central and 21 points and 11 rebounds against Grace Christian. She now has a personal-best eight double-doubles this season with seven games remaining on the schedule. For the week, Williams averaged 20.0 points and 12.5 rebounds while shooting 55.6% from the field (15-27).

Lewis, a senior forward from Rochester, NY (Greece Olympia HS) had a monster game vs. Nazareth. He had a career-high 42 points (15-for-25 from the the field) to go along with 21 rebounds. He also had three steals and two blocks. For the week, he scored 53 points (26.5 ppg) and grabbed 25 rebounds (12.5 rpg),
