Saints Ranked in AVCA Poll; First ACAA Team To Be Nationally Ranked

 

The Thomas More women's volleyball team raced out to a 4-0 record to start the season and is ranked 23rd in the AVCA Women's Volleyball Coaches poll released September 4. The Saints are the first ACAA team to be nationally ranked in any sport.

The Saints won the Ohio Northern Invitational last week with wins over then #12 Carnegie Mellon, #18 Ohio Northern, Case Western Reserve and Bluffton. Reigning ACAA Offensive Player of the Week Jenna Mummert was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament and was joined on the All-Tournament team by teammates Jenna Fessler and Emily Mohs.
