Albert Senyah of Alfred State and Noah Raisanen of Finlandia have been named the American Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Soccer Players of the Week.
Senyah, a senior forward from Long Island, NY (Central Islip HS), was part of the three of the Pioneers' four goals on the week. He recorded an assist in a 2-2 tie vs. St. John Fisher and then was part of both goals in a 2-0 win vs. SUNY ESF. He scored the opening game-winning goal on a PK and set up the insurance goal with a beautiful touch pass Senyah leads the team in scoring on the year.
Raisanen, a freshman goalkeeper from Buffalo, MN (Buffalo Senior HS), had a strong week as the Lions went 0-1-1. He gave up three goals in 200 minutes and had 17 saves. Raisanen made a big save just before the clock expired in the second overtime to preserve a 1-1 tie vs. Crown (Oct. 4).
